Vancouver’s Bollywood Station plays Top 40 Hit Music from India, Pakistan, UK, US and Canada.   The mix is a lively selection of Bollywood, Bhangra, Indy Pop, Hip Hop, Rap and more!   With a target demographic listenership from 18-44 years, the AM station’s mission is to provide listeners with lifestyle and entertainment news from both South Asian and North American culture.   Spice Radio features live news, traffic and weather reports from Monday to Friday.   International programming is featured on Sundays with music and programming in multiple languages including:  Filipino, Farsi, Italian, Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati, Malayalam and Sinhala.

Canada’s first and longest-serving radio station is broadcast through private radio, cable and Satellite subscription.   The service began in 1987 with 6 listeners and today 290,000 listeners throughout BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and pockets of Ontario have access to Rim Jhim.   The station carries daily religious services in 4 faiths (Sikh, Hindu, Muslim and Christian) a nightly newscast direct from India and music which ranges from folk music to old Bollywood, classical, geets and ghazals!    Private radios are available through ITMB offices and subscriptions through cable and satellite providers.
